Jaidah Automotive partnered with Sheikh Thani Bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian services (RAF) to launch its road safety iftar project during the Holy month of Ramadan.
In collaboration with RAF Foundation and as part of its corporate social responsibility, Jaidah Automotive is distributing 300 iftar meals at sunset to drivers by the most crowded traffic lights in Doha, for commuters to break their fast during Ramadan.
The campaign lasts for the whole month of Ramadan and aims to spread road safety awareness amongst drivers in Qatar through adopting an innovative and untraditional approach. A dedicated team from both Jaidah Automotive and RAF will give away meal boxes branded with the “Why Risk It” campaign illustrations and messages.
On this occasion Mr. Khaled Samir, Director of Operations at Jaidah Automotive said: “We are very excited to launch this project during the Holy month of Ramadan. This unique campaign includes new and creative ideas for road safety awareness. I would like to thank Sheikh Thani Bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian services RAF for their contribution and support towards this campaign, which aims to pave the way for safer roads in Qatar during the Holy month of Ramadan, and throughout the rest of the year.”
Jaidah Automotive hopes that the new campaign approach will be effective in reaching out to a wider audience, and to especially raise awareness amongst the country’s youth.
